Orveda Unveils First Flagship Boutique in New York City

Located in the Upper East Side, the stand-alone spa and boutique will showcase the French brand’s facials, skincare and fragrances.

French biotech skincare brand Orveda has unveiled its first flagship boutique in New York City.

Located in the Upper East Side, La Maison Orveda New York City will serve as a stand-alone spa and boutique showcasing the French brand’s facials, skincare and high-end fragrances with the newly launched Infiniment Coty Paris collection.

The US has become Orveda’s leading global market since the creation of the brand in 2017. Last year, it experienced a +54% sales increase across existing retail locations.

Orveda is currently available in select Saks Fifth Avenue locations. As part of its ongoing expansion strategy, the brand has plans to increase its footprint in the US market this fall with new retail partnerships with Cos Bar and Nordstrom.

The brand’s latest product innovation, The Omnipotent Concentrate, launched in September 2023, and earned six national awards.

The first Maison Orveda, which opened less than a year ago in the French Concession neighborhood of Shanghai, paid tribute to traditional Chinese architecture while incorporating French design elements.

La Maison Orveda NYC combines historic architectural details with futuristic scientific innovations, officials said. All detail of the space and material, selected by CEO Nicolas Vu, pays homage to NYC’s minimalist and elegant design.

The 3,840 square-foot boutique offers a blend of advanced skincare, exquisite fragrances and curated art.

Facials are performed in three treatment rooms, where the décor sets the stage for relaxation, providing an immediate sense of calm and serenity, per marketers.

Additionally, an event room will host masterclasses, scientific talks, art exhibitions and interactive experiences on a rotating basis.

The two-story boutique also displays a lounge area, product space and room dedicated to Infiniment Coty Paris fragrances.

The Intersection of Art and Perfumery

Enriched by Coty’s heritage yet envisioning the future, the brand blends art, science and emotion in a collection of 14 creations. Each creation reveals authentic personal olfactory signatures with a name conceived as personal messages whose values aim to resonate with all.

The language of Infiniment Coty Paris speaks of an “augmented” nature, per the company. To convey their message, the concentrated compositions incorporate an innovation that preserves and enhances the power and of the fragrance for up to 30 hours.

Created and designed by Nicolas Vu, the bottle stands as an ode to minimalism, officials said. Each bottle is made to be stacked and assembled with the next, contributing to the birth of an art piece.

In collaboration with the 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair, the brand invited artists to interpret each fragrance.

Isabelle D and Evans Mbugua revisited Matin de Jade and Atomes Crochus into art pieces that are exclusively displayed at Maison Orveda New York.
